Breaking Ground and Doomsday

 Christian broke ground on his new shop!!! Next step is getting the forms inspected and then pouring a ridiculous amount of cement!

"Doomsday" is what the twins have been calling Peter's 13th birthday- because we now have a TEENAGER in our family! And now all of a sudden he's going to be playing video games all day and being WEIRD. Ha! So far so good. He's enjoying the new privileges of getting a cup of coffee in the morning and staying up a little later at least.

 His real present was getting to go to a movie last week- Beyond the Mask-but he was very happy to get the cream of wheat at his party. :) I don't buy it often enough for his liking and none of the other kids like it, so he doesn't have to feel pressured into sharing!

 This turned out to be a book birthday! He is thrilled to have some new material to ingest!

Finished up the day with a game of Epic Duels!

P.S. For any non-family who thinks this was a pretty wimpy celebration for such a big birthday, we're also having a bigger party in August for him that'll be kind of a bar-mitzvah equivalent. Should be fun!
