Meet Penny

Penny is our new addition to the family! She is a one-year old Dutch bunny. Very patient, though still getting used to a new family after having never moved before. Her former owners had kids, so she's quite used to the craziness of being in a family. Next blog: Peter wearing braces!

A Glimpse of Christmas

Pretty hard to log the chaos of it all, but here a few pictures from the weekend... A common motto of the Young clan is "any excuse for a party!" So we decided that since Christmas was on Sunday this year, we would extend the festivities over three days! Friday the 23rd we deemed to be Christmas Eve- snacks, fireplace, reading of the Christmas story, a few carols, roasting chestnuts, and opening one present! Saturday we got up early for the traditional Muppet Christmas Carol showing, ate breakfast, opened presents, ate more...then went to Mom/Dad Vaughans' for a delicious ham dinner before most went the Christmas Eve service where Dad Young preached and everybody sang lots more carols. Sunday, Christmas Day, we ate some great breakfast burritos before heading to church and then our big Christmas "feast" that afternoon!
