Into December!

This is Christian's new shop! Looks tiny, but it will eventually be bigger than our house! And those individual sheets of corrugated steel are a lot heavier than they look. Oy.

 Thanks to a couple free tickets from the Lantings, we got to go ice skating again!

 Anne did a Bible reading for the K/1st grade class

 The K/1st graders sing Away in a Manger (twins' class)

 Then they sang Hark the Herald Angels Sing

 Elijah's class sang For Unto Us a Child is Born...Elijah got to hold up the "Counselor" sign!

 Anne's class did a dramatic presentation of Mary Did You Know- Anne played the part of the daughter of "your baby boy would save our sons and daughters"

Thanksgiving Weekend

Friday, Christian got to do a Grand Canyon tour for some friends, and I got to go with!

This is "Duck on a rock". That's really its name- can you see it? Looks like a rubber ducky.

This is Plateau Point- if you zoom waaaaay in, you can see specks that are either people or mules- can't really tell. :) I think it's like 5 trail miles away.

 Fossils! I still just love that there are sea fossils on the rim of the Grand Canyon. This one (shell) above is in a closed position, meaning they were alive when they were fossilized! Sounds pretty catastrophic to me!

These little white round ones are part of a crinoid stem- a sea creature that looks like a flower. They are found all over the US and are sometimes called indian beads.
