Family Staycation

Day One: Red Mountain, Chapel of the Holy Dove, Tetherball!

Day 2: Oak Creek Canyon, Fossil-hunting at Ft. Tuthill

Polly got to spend a couple days with her doggy cousins and came home pretty wiped out!

Day 3: Sunset Crater, Wupatki Indian Ruins, Cameron Trading Post

 Home of the cool ceiling and super-tasty Navajo tacos that are smaller than they used to be

There's a beautiful little garden behind the Trading Post that was actually growing grapes!

Miscellaneous May

Just some random pictures of May in the Young household...

 I got a nifty diffuser/humidifier that Christian decided needed a face. Hahaha!

 Daddy took the twins on a quick hike.

 We had a random snowstorm- might have been in April?

 Anne sported some ear buns in celebration of May the 4th

Who says you have to wait for Easter to decorate eggs?! 

We went to the Legoland Discovery Center with the Lantings. Not the most exciting place for the older kids, but it was still nice to take a quick break from school!

I think the mosaic room was a favorite

 Our old, beat up irises bloomed for the first time this year! We planted them yeeeears ago.

 Peter has his learner's permit and this is going to be my view a lot more often!

 It's been so very dry, so much static electricity!
