Yep, never know where we'll find these two sleeping! At least they stay in their room! Generally...
Peter has taken to making home made corn tortillas on his own. They are so yummy!
The birds don't seem to mind the snow as long as they can find patches of dirt to take their dust baths in!
Every now and then one of them misfires- this is what a yolk-less egg comes out as- itty bitty!
Because I know you're curious what our "nefarious pink slime of doom" looks like... Ick. This particular chunk is about 1/2" wide.
True Youngs take pictures with tea cozies.
Peter just keeps growing!
...and looking for ways to make us jump!
Big kids like play dough, too!
Gardening!
Lettuce sprouts
Carrot sprouts
Strawberries are up and running!
In the twins' world, there are three continents: Africa, China, and Arizona. Oh- and Angel Falls at the very bottom. :)
Tirzah finally lost her first tooth! It was amazingly uneventful for a girl with an exceedingly low pain tolerance!
We broke down and bought a keyboard for my deprived, begging children (ok, mostly for me, though). I'm super impressed with the book I got for them to learn from:
They went from only knowing how to play Mary Had a Little Lamb to playing Ode to Joy with two hands in just a week! He starts off teaching them how to play the piano and then teaching them how to read music. Usually it's the other way around and (my kids at least) get bogged down with theory and lose the joy of playing. Anyway. We've been having lots of fun with it! :)
The ever-expanding kids' clubhouse, which now includes a "Shire room" with a circular cut-out in the door.
Berea REALLY wanted me to take a picture of her mermaid picture.
We went hiking/walking around Sunset Crater- lava flow in the foreground, SF Peaks in the background. Fun times!
