California Trip

 The signs approaching LA area were so helpful...

Fun with friends!

We hadn't been to the beach since Elijah was a baby & even that was at the Redwoods (cold!), so really it's been since Anne was a baby when we were in Mexico! The kids all loved it and we had to drag them away when it was time to go.

We were able to visit my cousin and her family who had just moved to the area. So fun for our kids to get to meet each other for the first time!

 We also got to visit my uncle/aunt/cousin! It always feels like home every time we visit, even though it's years between visits. I just love how welcoming they are, even with all the chaos of 5 kids who have been cooped up in the car too long. :)

H. with the twins when they were all reeeeally young (I think the twins were like 4 weeks old and H was about 8 weeks?)

And here they are now at 5 1/2 years old! Apparently cooties are in effect at this age. :)

And the main reason for our trip- Elijah really wanted to see his best buddy. :)
